The Home Stretch in Recruiting

Sourcing for the right candidate for an open position can sometimes be like finding a purple squirrel with all the qualifications needed for the position. The phone screens are conducted, the resumes and notes on the candidate are sent over to the hiring managers for review.

They want to proceed with speaking to the candidates and setting up onsite interviews. But how do you stay warm in a talent pool at the end of the interview process?

The home stretch of the interview phase can often be enduring and waiting for the feedback to decide on the right candidate. But don’t be discouraged, even though this can take a few weeks to hear back, your skills and qualifications got you this far in the process, stay proud of your accomplishments and know when you hear back, and are the chosen one, your next career path is on the horizon.
